About Mary Heim

Hi, my name is Mary, a native of southern California. I grew up in a large blended family, splitting our time between the beautiful coast of Palos Verdes and the small college town of Claremont near Mt. Baldy. We are lucky to have had the best of both worlds and I have a deep appreciation for the unique charm of southern California.

Since moving to Carlsbad in the early 2000’s, I have come to love the evolution of North County’s cities. My husband and I are now happily settled in Lake San Marcos, a wonderful place to raise our family.

Before growing our family, I spent years managing high-end retail stores and designing store layouts across the western states. This experience allowed me to use my creativity and business analytics in combination, to help each store increase conversion and drive sales in their respective market.

Once our family began to grow I opted to stay home with them as my husbands career demanded more travel. I am not one to sit still long, and during this time I started my own small business by creating a unique and refreshing line of apple cider vinegar tonics. I have learned a lot on this journey of developing a brand and trying to carve out a little space in the wellness community. This experience has been equally rewarding and challenging, and has deepened my love for working with people and creating lasting relationships.

Sharing all of these moments are fun to think back on, and through it all I have always had a deep love and passion for real estate and home and landscape design. I remember circling property listings when I was young, because checking out open houses was one of my favorite weekend activities. I always enjoyed watching my parents transform some special property’s into beautiful homes, and my husband and I have done the same with our homes. I have long admired the role their realtors played in making their dreams come true and helping them build generational wealth along the way.
