Smoke Detectors
Please ensure all smoke detectors are installed and are in working order.
Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Safety
Increased use of heating systems, generators, and indoor combustion appliances can lead to dangerous levels of CO2. CO2 is a colorless, odorless gas that can cause serious health effects and be fatal.
Ensure you have working CO2 detectors on every level of your home, especially near sleeping areas. Test them regularly and replace batteries as needed.
When using fuel-burning appliances, always ensure adequate ventilation. Never use generators, charcoal grills, or camping stoves indoors.
