Carlsbad news you can use for October 2019

Shout out to Aviara Oaks Elementary!
U.S. Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos recognized Aviara Oaks Elementary School as one of 362 National Blue-Ribbon Schools for 2019. The coveted award affirms the hard work of educators, families and communities in creating safe and welcoming schools where students master challenging and engaging content. In 2019, only 30 schools in California received this recognition (and only three in San Diego County). Great schools mean increased property values! Way to go, AOE!
