Always hometown …now downtown!
Maria Roller began her career almost two decades ago at Chase Home Finance after receiving her BA from CSUSM. As a seasoned Loss Mitigation Supervisor, she managed Loss Mitigation Specialists/Negotiators and Underwriters who were responsible for negotiating Short Payoffs, Loan Modifications, and Deed in Lieu scenarios. This experience allowed her invaluable interaction amongst agents, brokers, investors, outreach groups and customers to minimize potential loss. In 2006, Maria was instrumental in the implementation of the ARM Reset Modification program and was responsible for process flow within all Retention Programs including Underwriting, Doc Prep and Financial Processing. The ARM Reset program paved the way for the National program known as “Making Homes Affordable”. She then furthered her career working for New American Funding where she opened branch offices, trained new staff and managed their Real Estate division New American Residential. While there, Maria played an active role as a founding member in a trade organization known as AAHMP. She spent two years in Washington DC & Virginia working with members of Congress, Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac to offer alternative underwriting solutions to the Making Homes Affordable program all in an effort to revitalize the distressed economy.
Maria was born and raised in Carlsbad and happily resides in the same community with her husband and two daughters. She is actively involved in the schools and community. She loves cheering on her daughters on the field and stage, enjoys the beautiful beach, playing golf and traveling. Growing up the daughter of a custom home builder, Maria has always been drawn to entrepreneurship and real estate . In 2010, she realized her dreams and opened up California Residential Consulting with the support of her family, friends and great community!
